MÉLUSINE

£305.00

Inspired by the legendary French spirit of transformation and shadow, this scarf otters a haunting atmosphere. In medieval folklore, Mélusine is most often depicted as half-woman, half-serpent — and in later tales, as a mermaid — long associated with hidden power, curses, and ancient magic.

This richly detailed scarf features a procession of Mélusine figures surrounded by serpents, devilish masks, crow silhouettes, and skull motifs — symbols of metamorphosis, fate, and the thin veil between worlds. The bold black and deep red palette evokes firelight on dark stone, conjuring a striking, Gothic elegance as a wearable myth.

Mélusine can also be knitted in a wider size at no extra cost and all designs can be made in your choice of colours. Please get in touch to discuss bespoke commissions.
